The Antagonist
The Antagonist's clothes are going to be the typical office wear as we want to show that he's not been home after work and has a formal dress required job, hinting that he may have some money and an important job.
Age: 20
Typical wear will be Black slacks, a white shirt and a red tie. The red tie will symbolise wrath as later on he gets angry, the colour of this tie is a hint at one of the seven deadly sins.
The is the look we will be going for minus the blazer as we want a more informal intimidating look. Ryan Reynolds is our reference actor for this short, we want this kind of manly look with a potential to do harm.
The Antagonist's second costume
The second costume will be in the later part/end of the short. The antagonist here will be wearing a Funeral suit, similar to his work suit but with a black blazer onto of his white shirt and red tie.
The Protagonist
The protagonist is Alice, Richard's Girlfriend. She is a religious woman of the age of 20 her typical attire is pastel colours, in this short she wears light blue jeans with a light pink top and potentially a cardigan. This is to connotate innocence and her religion which link to a main theme in our short.
Our Actress who we are referencing here would be Zoey Deschanel, for her big eyed innocent look and natural beauty.
Antagonist 2 - Stacey (The Work Colleague)
Stacey is Richard's work colleague that he has had an affair with. Because of this simple piece of information and the fact she works in an office we wanted to follow the stereotype of the promiscuous female office worker that sleeps with everybody in the work place. To also go along with stereotypes we wanted to try and make Stacey blonde.
The costume Stacey will be wearing is completely black as its funeral wear but we want to still keep that promiscuous theme so we may dress her in a little black dress. The black is both related to funerals and death as a sign of respect AND a little black dress is often associated with a confident ego and promiscuous ideas.Second idea
To keep with the promiscuous and revealing costume idea, we thought that instead of a little black dress - should the actress not feel comfortable wearing one for example - then a small black skirt, white blouse and black blazer.
