A2 brief: Specifications

Below you will see what this year entails for our course work, there isn't much research this year as last year for our A2 we learnt and researched a lot of the skills we shall need for our second year. In case you didn't follow my first years AS blog here's a link so you can review last years work.

The specification for this year is to create a short film in it's entirety lasting no more than 5 minutes and it adheres to school protocol (e.g No violence, Rape or Racism). The short film will be combined with 2 other options, the option of choice this year for us is a creation of a film magazine review page featuring our short film AND a poster for our film, for this we will be learning more about Photoshop with the video tutorials provided in links on Mr Hood's Blog as this will more than likely be our software of choice to create the review and poster.

Just like last year we shall be required to document our journey in a portfolio manner, so for this year we are carrying on using 'Blogger' and will be exhibiting our work and Research&Planning on our blogs in a combination of Print, Video and Pictures.
Now that we know what will be required for this years media studies coursework we need to research what a Short Film so this will be my next blog post, followed by a review of short films my fellow students have picked.
